Remember when some viewers said we should write in here more......WHERE YOU AT!
So this has been an interesting round, new tribes and people's plans either worked out or came tumbling down. I think the one person who in his own words had the "Oh Shit!" moment was Mr. Brandon Clark. We all said he was playing a short-sighted game last round and I think it's shown by how both he and Corey are positioned in this game. They banked way too heavily on their former Hosvik tribe. That they would all rejoin and start back right where they left off. That since they had the numbers advantage they were all good. Everyone else had branched out, and I think Brandon made a big mistake not doing so.
Not only did he not branch out from a numbers perspective he also let his pre-game opinions of people hurt his game. Brandon's conquest to get Eric out of the game has been questionable at best. Eric has had a point in his confessional, he's never spoken to Brandon, he's not interacted with him, so even I don't understand why Brandon went so hard for Eric. Obviously if Eric is still here he's not in a terrible spot and will clearly have some bonds on the tribe. Sure you may think he has a power but why go at him so aggressively? Why push such a smear campaign? It's just strange how Brandon didn't even give Eric the chance.
I think Eric is smart to play his idol. Everyone already thinks he has one, his best scenario is to use it, get that target off him, and then find another one, which is totally possible for him. He will be the only person in the game who has actually been in the Knarr so he has his strategies. He'll know what to do when everyone else who may get there will just be discovering it. I think Eric is slowly building his army with his new bonds to Mikki, trying to get Stephen even though he's not necessary for the vote to be successful. Eric is playing one of the best long-term games here, versus Brandon who played a very short-sighted game.
