This round is all about the aftermath of last rounds twist. And I think everyone agree that the most interesting person due to their position in the game and their reaction is Feji. Did Feji get screwed by the twist? Hell yeah she did. You can't deny it, Survivor has one hell of a luck component, and Feji got a lot of bad luck being on a post-swap tribe in the minority and the only other person from her tribe was someone with questionable activity. That being said Feji did a lot to hurt herself in the last round and I don't think it's fair to blame it on previous relationships, because I don't think they played that much of a factor.
What happened to Feji last round is 100% because of her social game. From her mismanagement early on with regard to Casey/Blake to how she approached people. Feji had her alliance in OG Hosvik, but unliked Corey/Brandon/Stephen, she did not branch out. She all but ignored Casey, so when it came to the moment of Casey/Blake being selfish and just guaranteeing their safety for a couple rounds rather than helping Feji, you can't blame them for hanging her out to dry. I would have done the exact same thing, I also would have been really pissed about people betraying me like that though.
Feji also was way too aggressive trying to get people to keep Kevin, especially considering who she was with. Patrick is a player that you can't approach aggressively because that's how he plays. Two bulls going against each other are going to but heads. Feji should have been more approachable and subtle because she was in the minority. She acted like she ruled the roost when in fact she had no power. Blake/Casey/Stephen all took the complete opposity approach in dealing with the other tribe. They were social, they were pleasant, and you can tell by how they were received from confessionals. They built bonds that could potentially benefit them later on. It would have benefited Vagar way more to vote out Blake, but that trio's social game compared to Feji's was outstanding. They saw that for their ultimate game they had to sacrifice Feji and she helped them make it happen the way she played that round out.
I'm excited to see how Feji bounces back from this. She has had her night of being pissed off, frustrated, wanting to quit. Now is the time we see what kind of player Feji is. Is she the Feji "Goddess" everyone says she is. Will she fight in this upcoming challenge and try to infiltrate that group? Or will she give up? If she comes back from this it will be an amazing arc and a huge feat as a player. And honestly, I don't think it's impossible. I don't think her tribe is going to take the easy way out and throw the challenge because at the end of the day Feji is now an asset to them. She now has no ties, because they've been severed. I really hope Feji fights and makes it through this stage of the game, because it would be one hell of an achievement on its own.
Also this is a very heavy Feji heavy write up, for obvious reasons after last night, but I really want to give a shout out to Stephen. I think last round was a real turning point in his game. He could have helped Feji who was his closest ally, but he didn't. I think Stephen will now easily make it to the merge and be a really interesting player to watch since he's not tied down to someone like he usually is. He doesn't have that number one, his is the number one of his game. I hope he continues to be as flexible as he showed to be last round, especially once the merge hits.

So this was a pretty exciting round as a whole, I know plenty of people are happy that Feji managed to make it through, and I hope I too will begin to see her in an amazing light, but as for now I'm a little bummed to see Patrick go. It hurts me so see somebody who was so vocally invested leave so early, though it was probably a smart move for his tribe.
Orange is probably my favorite tribe right now, I'm really enjoying the Casey/Blake/Stephen power. I think one of those 3 has a pretty good shot at taking this game, especially if Stephen can do what he says and play a more individualistic game than he usually does. I can see them going to tribal soon, and I'd predict a Kyle boot in that case, but a lot could happen.
Green is the tribe I care least about right now, but they do have a somewhat interesting dynamic. It's quite possible things will flip if they have to go to tribal again, and I'd be really okay with a Corey boot, unless he really picks up on the activity. I just hope that John Coffey can make it through to the merge.
I also really love the current purple tribe. As I already said, I would have preferred Patrick made it through, but I think in the majority of challenges they'll bring the strongest performance, so I wouldn't be too surprised if they don't attend tribal council again in their current state. If they do, I'd like to see Poteet or Mike go, but I really would love it if they all made merge because I think they all still have a lot to bring to the table. Eric is my current winner pick, I think if he makes merge he has a great shot, and his troubles would come in if they had to go to tribal again before that stage. It also seems he's the closest to the Knarr currently, so who knows if that could work wonders for him or be his downfall.
Whatever happens, I'm definitely please with the events of the game so far, there is next to nobody here who I'd rule out as a winner at this point, and that's great to see.
