Please sign below with the following statement
"I _______ hereby acknowledge and agree to the rules of Conquest."
________________________________________________________
Webcam – Some challenges will require you to be on camera to compete. This can be using a computer webcam or your phone. If you need help getting on webcam or want to learn about using your phone as your computers webcam, message one of the hosts for help.
Video Uploads – You will be responsible for uploading your own videos to YouTube. List all videos that you upload as UNLISTED.
Game Events and Fairness – All events have been pre-planned and scheduled prior to casting the game. Everything will go as scheduled, however the Hosts reserve the right to alter the schedule and game structure only in the event of someone quitting the game.
Deadlines – All Challenges and Tribal Councils will have a deadline. If you would like an extension to any deadline it must be requested more than an hour in advance of the deadline. We reserve the right to grant or dismiss any extension requests.
Communication – Cross-tribal communication is NOT permitted. You are only allowed to speak to the members of your tribe about the game. We understand that there may be instances where you can’t avoid speaking with someone from the other tribe due to matters outside of the game, but if this is necessary please refrain from talking about Conquest.
Cheating and Consequences – We have a zero tolerance policy on cheating. This includes cross-tribal communication. Consequences will be based on a strike system.
Strike 1: Receive a formal warning.
Strike 2: Receive a self-vote and unable to vote at your next Tribal Council.
Strike 3: Removed from the game.
As hosts, we reserve the right to skip to a different level of consequence based on the severity of the rule break.
Activity – It is expected that you participate actively in this game. If for any reason the hosts are unable to contact you for an extended period of time and we have not received advance notice of your departure, with reserve the right to remove you from the game.
Respect - Show respect to your fellow players and hosts. Disrespect and personal attacks will not be respected and may have consequences based on the severity of the offense.
Schedule – Will be posted regularly to give an idea of upcoming events in the game.
Tree Mail – Will be posted the day before a challenge unless otherwise stated. Tree mail will include a clue about the challenge as well as specific scheduling details on when it will begin.
Timing – Challenges may be live, semi-live, or over the course of 24-48 hours. The style of challenge will be announced in Tree Mail.
Questions – If you are ever confused about a challenge or want further clarification, please reach out to any of the hosts. There are no dumb questions, we are happy to answer anything.
Timing – Tribal Council will be hosted LIVE on a Google Hangout as often as possible. We understand that sometimes people’s schedules will not accommodate a live Tribal Council, and in those situations we will have a 24 hour Tribal Council and live vote reveal.
Live Tribal Council – This will take place over Google Hangout and will operate similarly to Tribal Council on the show. There will be a questioning period where the Tribal Council Host will ask you guys questions, then you will each submit your votes to a member of production by writing who you would like to vote out on a piece of paper.
Non-Live Tribal Council – This will be posted as a thread on the forum. You will have 24 hours to post a video of your answers to the provided questions in the thread, and a video of you voting someone out.
Voting – Once a vote is submitted it is final and cannot be changed.
Deadline – If you do not vote before the deadline you will receive a self-vote for that round.
Tie-Breaker – In the event of a tie we will have a re-vote. All players will vote again except for those that received votes in the tie. If there is still a tie after the re-vote, the people who received votes in the tie will be safe, and all remaining players who are not immune will draw rocks. The person that draws the killer rock will be eliminated from the game.
Amount – You are required a minimum of 1 video confessional per round. You can post as many video or written confessionals as your heart desires, but at least one video confessional is required per round. Failing to do so will have consequences.
Privacy – Your confessionals are your own personal space. Only you, the host and our selected group of trusted viewers have access. If you have any questions or concerns about privacy, please reach out to any of the hosts.
Assistance – If you need assistance posting a confessional, feel free to ask any of the hosts. If you need assistance recording a confessional or would like to record one with one of the hosts, feel free to ask and if we are available we will gladly help you with your recording.
Restrictions – Once you are voted out of the game we ask that you do not speak to current players about the game. We also ask that any players who are currently in the game do not reach out to members of the pre-jury or jury. This will be treated similarly to cross-tribal communication and there will be consequences for communication with people who have been voted out of the game.
